How I got here.
Don’t call it a comeback!
After almost a month I have finally found my way back here. I wanted to publish a blog post a week, but it seems that life had other plans for me. If you want to hear the craziness that has transpired, then please read on…
It is always confusing when you go to view something on your website, and you are greeted with a white page and some text and not the website you poured all your effort into. You go instantly into crisis mode trying to fix it. All I could think was if this goes down and someone visits my site then I am going to look like an ID10T. (if anyone ever tells you that you had an ID 10 T error, they are making fun of you.) The fastest way to get the site back up was saving the site and re-uploading what had been done. Like that I was back up and running. (I hope I got it fixed but if you come back and find it isn’t then check back in the next day.)
Life wasn’t done yet though. Just when I thought being unemployed was coming to an end because I signed an offer letter with a small company working on community projects. Finally, a job I can do that is helping lots of people. Thankfully I was skeptical about the offer from the get-go. Their interview was a spreadsheet of questions and not speaking to anyone, but I decided I was desperate enough to take a chance. I had to bow out though when they emailed me a check asking me to print it off and deposit it in the bank. I have to say a hard line for me is when a company attempts to get me to commit bank fraud. Lol
If anyone is hiring, please let me know.
